THIAZOLIDINE DERIVATIVES HAVING ANTI-HYPERTENSIVE ACTIVITY AND THEIR THERAPEUTIC USE

Thiazolidine derivatives of formula (I): (in which: R<1>, R<2>, R<4>, R<5> are each hydrogen or alkyl; and R<3> is hydrogen, aliphatic acyl, alkoxycarbonyl, or arylcarbonyl) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are anti-hypertensive agents and are useful in the treatment of obesity-related hypertension and for the preparation of uses for such treatment.
