PURPOSE:To effectively perform a task for maintenance of system resources by transferring the system resources belonging to a designated relevant operating generation to all servers of a designated relevant maintenance group when a prescribed transfer instruction is received at a resources distribution processing part. CONSTITUTION:A host 10 contains the necessary system resources 3, the maintenance control information 11, and a resources distribution processing part 12 and then transfers the resources 3 to one or more servers 2. The information 11 includes a relevant server name, a relevant operating generation name, each system resources name belonging to each operating generation, and the version number of each system resources for each maintenance group. The part 12 receives the prescribed transfer instructions from an input device 4 for designation of a maintenance group and an operating generation and transfers the resources 3 belonging to a designated operating generation to all servers 2 of a designated maintenance group. Thus it is possible to facilitate the check of the maintenance control information on each maintenance group and to perform an accurate maintenance task with high efficiency.
