摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the input of high angular velocity and to widen an input dynamic range by detecting such a state that the phase difference between clockwise and counterclockwise lights becomes a + or -5pi/2 radian to perform the corresponding control. CONSTITUTION:The fifth and sixth sampling hold circuits 53, 54 performing sampling hold in such a state that the phase difference between clockwise and counterclockwise lights is a - or +5pi/2 radian for the sake of the sampling hold of the output of a photoelectric converter 16 converting interference light are provided. The outputs of the first - third differential amplifiers 31, 32, 55 containing the third differential amplifier 55 from which the difference between the outputs of the circuits 53, 54 are taken out are changed over by a change- over switch to be supplied to an A/D converter 35. A control part 46 controls which of the first - sixth sampling hold circuits 27 - 30, 53, 54 performs sampling hold and, in the state performed by the circuits 53, 54, the switch 33 is controlled so as to supply the output of the amplifier 55 to the converter 35.
