PURPOSE:To exactly reproduce the waveform values of respective time even when the ratio of the reproduction pitch to an original pitch increases by allowing the switching of the computation form of interpolation computation. CONSTITUTION:This device has a phase generating means PG which successively generates the phase information corresponding to the respective phases to reproduce the waveform values in the waveforms to be processed, an interpolation computation control means STG which outputs the computation assignment information to assign the prescribed computation form and an interpolation computing means OVS which makes the interpolation computation of the waveform values corresponding to the phase information in accordance with the computation assignment information. The computation form of the interpolation computation is switched by the computation assignment information outputted by the interpolation computation control means STG. The flexible dealing with the request for the reproduction pitch or computation accuracy, etc., is possible in this way and the interpolation computation of the waveform values of the reproducing waveforms is executed. |
