<p>Process for the manufacture of articles having an appearance of natural stones from a composition comprising a coloured or uncoloured matrix made of thermoplastic resin and, per 100 parts by volume of this matrix, 0.2 to 80 parts by volume of at least two fillers chosen from natural fibres, carbon fibres and inorganic or vegetable fillers of different particle size or dimensions. The general appearance and the tints of a natural stone can be imitated by choosing the colour of the matrix and the number, proportion, particle size and colour of the different fillers. The articles obtained after shaping can be employed for their aesthetic appearance, especially in the packaging of cosmetic products.</p> |
