<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the designating mistakes produced at the copying destination by performing the display to designate the copy enabling hierarchy destinations in response to the number of hierarchies to be copied. CONSTITUTION:A copy subject is designated within a directory read out of a directory storage area via a key input device 1 or a pointing device 2. Then a subject designation control part 3 informs a central arithmetic control part 6 of the designated subject. When a copy mode is selected, a menu selection control part 4 informs the part 6 of the selection of the copy mode. A process control part 4 decides the number of hierarchies to be copied based on the designation of the part 6 and then displays a conversation box where the copy designations can be designated in accordance with the number of hierarchies to be copied. As a result, a proper hierarchy is displayed as a copy destination of data and therefore the load of a user can be omitted.</p> |
