<p>PURPOSE:To prevent injury of edge parts even if a paper feed roller is formed out of raw material of high friction coefficient such as rubber by forming a flat cutout face having non-contact relation with received sheets on a part of the circumferential face of a paper feed roller, and coating the cutout face and its both side edge parts with a member of low friction coefficient. CONSTITUTION:A lever 15 always energized to slidably contact with the circumferential face of a cam 13 is brought into contact with the engaging projection part 13a of the cam 13 through its extreme end, so that the cutout faces 10a of paper feed rollers 10 are stopped on the upward inclined position facing to the inserting side of a manual inserting sheet S2. When the manual inserting sheet S2 is slidably inserted between a paper sheet cover 5 and a manual inserting sheet guide plate 6 in this condition, so as to print on a desired sheet, the extreme end of the sheet abuts to the cutout faces 10a of the paper feed rollers 10, the sheet is smoothly guided with thin plates 11 of low friction coefficient provided on the faces 10a, guided with a sheet guide plate 8 same as received sheet S1 in a cassette, and fed to a platen 7.</p> |
