PURPOSE:To allow the electric simulation of the mechanism of the acoustic oscillation generation in a brass instrument by providing a pressure detecting means and a harmonic tone converting means. CONSTITUTION:This device has the pressure detecting means 100 which is provided in a mouthpiece and detects the pressure relating to the blowing operation to this mouthpiece and the harmonic tone converting means 11 which converts the pressure detected by the pressure detecting means 100 to the harmonic tone assignment data indicating the harmonic tone relation of the pitch of the played musical tones with respect to the prescribed fundamental tone. The control of the pitch of the musical instrument played according to the pressure by the blowing operation to the mouthpiece is, therefore, possible. The mechanism of the acoustic oscillation generation observed in the brass instrument is effectively simulated in this way. |
