PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of a weather strip by providing a specific adhesive layer to the slide region of a glass run main body made of EPDM to extrude said main body and applying solventless type urethane paint on the adhesive layer to cure the same. CONSTITUTION:A glass run main body 1 made of EPDM and an adhesive layer 5 composed of a blend polymer prepared by adding 5-20 pts. wt. of a styrene polymer to 100 pts.wt. of a 80/20-40/60 mixture of NBR/EPDM (wt. ratio) are co-extruded from a multicolor extrusion head 15 to which the extruder 11 for the main body and the extruder 13 for the adhesive layer are connected to be applied to the slide region S of the main body 1. Continuously, urethane paint is applied to the adhesive layer 5 by a paint coating apparatus such as a spray coating apparatus and the urethane paint film after coating is simultaneously cured in the vulcanizing process of the glass run body 1 to form an urethane slide layer 3. |
