The device includes a tool store module (12) connected to a tool head (13) via a linkage, whereby when the tool head (13) moves downwards, the tool store (29) will be urged to swing outwards away from the tool head (13), thus permitting the machining tool to perform a machining operation. When the tool head (13) moves upwards. the tool store (29) is urged to swing towards the tool head (13) so that a now tool for a subsequent machining operation is directly under the tool head (13) for assisting the tool-changing operation. The linkage comprises an arm (26) with a roller engaging in a track (18) with a curved portion to cause the movement of the tool store (29). A pivotable touch plate (36) cooperates with a limit switch (34) to control operation of a pull lever in the head (13) for tool retaining or releasing. <IMAGE> |
