<p>PURPOSE:To systematically and simply express various states of a computer by synthesizing fundamental patterns to express an icon. CONSTITUTION:Plurally combined graphic elements to express each icon are stored as icon patterns in an icon pattern storage means 1. An icon pattern synthesizing means 2 takes out icon patterns stored in the icon pattern storage means 1 as necessary and combines them to synthesize an icon. The icon to be synthesized is indicated by an icon using condition managing means 3. A display control means 4 displays plural icons on the screen of a display device such as a CRT of the computer in accordance with the using conditions of icons, for example, the latest using conditions based on the control of the icon using condition managing means 3. Thus, the states of the computer are systematically and simply expressed.</p> |
