The invention relates to an apparatus for the surface treatment of bulk goods which can be transported on a conveyor track at least partially in a treatment bath. According to the invention, there is a conveyor track (2) which consists of at least two vibrating chutes (3 to 5) inclined in the conveying direction and alternately having an approximately opposite direction of movement of the bulk goods (10). In this apparatus, the bulk goods (10), whilst being thoroughly mixed, can be treated over a large material-web width and with relatively small space requirement.
