PURPOSE:To obtain the photosensitive layer which has an excellent inking property and moisture resistance and maintains the developability without change over a long period of time by mixing specific single terminal reactive silicone and a copolymer contg. stearyl acrylate and monohexahydrophthalate as copolymer components with the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive layer for printing plates is formed by mixing the single terminal reactive silicone consisting of formula I and the copolymer contg. stearyl acrylate and mono (2-methacryloxyethyl) hexahydrophthalate as the copolymer component with the photosensitive layer contg. an acryl copoly mer having a hydroxyl group and carboxylic acid group and a diazo photosensi tive agent. The copolymer is preferably incorporated at 5.0 to 30wt.% into this photosensitive layer. In the formula I, n is 0 to 140 integer. The photosensi tive layer for printing plates which is excellent in the coatability and inking property and in the preservable stability by the moisture resistant effect is obtd. in this way. |
