PURPOSE:To simplify structure of a steering lock device by providing a receiving means and a judging means outside of as well as providing a checking means inside of the steering lock device in a keyless controller for vehicle using a portable sending means (card) which can send a specific cipher information. CONSTITUTION:A receiving means 3 to receive a cipher information sent from a card 1 as a portable sending means which can send a specific cipher information and a control unit 7 provided with a judging means 5 to judge the existence of the sending means 1 are provided in a system capable of releasing locking of steering without using a key. Then a checking means 15 to check the received cipher information and a specific cipher information is provided in a steering locking device 19 having a locking means 9, releasing means 11 to release locking and a regulating means 13 to regulate locking releasing, and when both the cipher informations coincide with each other, regulation of the regulating means 13 is released by a regulation releasing means 17. |
