PURPOSE:To obtain the title substance by reacting a Grignard reagent with anhydrous zinc chloride to give an active allyl zinc chloride compound and then subjecting the allyl zinc chloride compound to stereoselective crosscoupling reaction with an enchlorine compound in the presence of a copper metal compound. CONSTITUTION:A compound expressed by formula I [R is group expressed by formula II, group expressed by formula III (R8 is H or protecting group of hydroxyl group), OH, NR5R6 (R5 and R6 are H, methyl, etc.), etc.; m is 0-3] is reacted with a compound expressed by formula IV (R' is H, alkyl, aralkyl, etc.) in the presence of anhydrous zinc chloride and copper metal compound to provide the compound expressed by formula V in high purity and yield. The copper metal compound is selected from CuI, CuCl2, Cu(CH3COCH2COO)2, Li2CuCl4, etc., and is used at an addition amount of 10<-5>-10<-1> gram atom number per equivalent of reaction. The compound expressed by formula V is useful as intermediate or precursor in synthesis of vitamin and perfume. |
