PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjustment of a position by adding a release lever releasing latching on a rail of a guide member movable in a load carrying rail to the guide member in a vertical adjuster of a safety belt deflection fixture supported by a pin on the guide member. CONSTITUTION: A plate-shaped latching member 14 is arranged in a rail 10 which is provided with a plurality of self-lockings 12 protruding on a bottom wall and has a box-shaped cross section, and this latching member 14 firmly connects a deflection fixture 18 with an opposing pin 16. Moreover, a guide member 20 is slidably mounted on the rail 10, and a bearing ring 28 integral with the deflection fixture 18 is supported on the pin 16 inserted and supported on the guide member 20 through a spherical segment 26. A release lever 38 is slidably mounted on the guide member 20 to bring a pressure nose 42 in a lower part thereof in contact with an end face 44 of the latching member 14. The latching member 14 is pivotally moved by operating this release lever 38 and pressing a handle 16A of the pin 16 to release a lower end face thereof from the self-lockings 12. |
