<p>A mechanism (1) providing for the conversion of a rotatory motion into a linear reciprocating motion, and vice versa, comprising a pair of elements (4,5), coaxial with and facing each other, of which one (4) is rotatable and the other (5) is constrained to translate along an axis, showing circular, respective rolling surfaces (7,8) facing each other and having an undulated profile, several rolling bodies (14), equal in number, at most, to the waves of rolling surfaces (7,8), angularly and equally spaced and inserted between rolling surfaces (7,8), so as to roll without sliding on same, and pressing means (26) capable of generating an axial force on second element (5) so as to ensure the reciprocal contact between elements (4,5) and rolling bodies (14); a section of said rolling surfaces (7,8) being developed on a plane by means of a cylindrical surface, coaxial to same mechanism, presenting an undulated profile, the minimum radius of curvature (R1) of the convexity of each wave being bigger than the minimum radius of curvature (R2) of the concavity; angle ( PROPORTIONAL ) of maximum elevation of said profile being bigger than half of sliding friction angle ( beta ) between rolling bodies (14) and rolling surfaces (7,8). <IMAGE> <IMAGE></p> |
