PURPOSE:To prevent the selvedge breaking in the rear end of a laver sheet, by means of a perforated endless belt moving with the laver sheet attracted thereto and a reed screen guide plate almost parallel to the belt just under the belt to stretch the screen in the direction opposite to the laver at a small angle. CONSTITUTION:A read screen 63 with a laver sheet transferred by a laver reed screen feed belts 1 and 2 is sensed by a sensing roller 11, and the laver sheet is peeled preliminarily by rollers 8, 9 and 10 started by a limit switch 12. The reed screen 63 is further advanced to attract the laver sheet to an attracting apparatus 18 by the rotation of a perforated endless belt 13 and a chain 25 started by a rotating shaft 52 driven by the limit switch 12. The reed screen 63 is advanced on a guide plate 29 and moved in the direction (c), and the tip thereof is caught by an engaging finger 26 and moved in the direction (c). The guide plate 29 is simultaneously slanted and returned to the original position by a spring 30 on removing the reed screen 63. |
