An accessory rail (10) adapted to be attached to an existing spray rail (7) of a boat bottom (4) is disclosed. The accessory rail (10) includes a mounting portion (11) having a first supporting surface (12) adapted to abut a substantially vertical surface (9) of the existing spray rail (7), and a rail portion (13) extending downwards from the mounting portion (11) and including a water deflecting surface (14). The rail portion (13) may include a second supporting surface (15) adapted to abut a substantially horizontal surface (8) of the existing spray rail (7). The water deflecting surface (14) may be a flat or a curved surface. |
