The hollow walled box comprises a combination of materials such as plastics and cardboard and is in three parts comprising a hollow frame with side walls (16) running conically from the bottom to the top, an upper frame wall (15) as well a lower lid support edge (17). The marginal indentation (14) for the closing tongue (3) lies on the same plane and the arcuate insert slits (12, 13) are mounted in the lid support edge. The lid (2) has a closing tongue and two fixing tongues. The box base is attached by adhesive sections (7, 8, 9, 10) to the hollow wall frame. The lid and the box base pref. have the same number of adhesive sections which protrude up over the blank. ADVANTAGE - Greater stability whilst using economic material combinations.
