<p>Device for transferring data between two modules 5, 6 in a microprocessor system equipped with a central unit 1 with an arrangement of address and data bus 8, 9, 10 connected to the central unit 1 and to a memory 4 of operating codes, as well as to the two modules 5, 6. The device comprises a switch 7 for cutting the data bus into two segments respectively 13 linked to the two modules and 8 linked to the rest of the system, and means 2 for controlling the transfer between the modules whatever the operating code present on the data bus 8 at the output of the memory of operating codes. These means are constituted by a combination logic circuit, which is equipped with an address decoder linked to the address bus 10, and which, when it recognises a particular address on this bus, reverses the read OE and write WE commands of one of these modules with respect to those of the other, activates their selection connection CS and also controls the opening of the switch 7. The processor then has the sole role of incrementing the addresses applied to the address inputs A of the two modules. Application: the invention applies especially to microprocessor systems used in robots of any sort for the control of professional equipment or leisure equipment such as audio-video systems. <IMAGE></p> |
