SERIES TYPE CATHODE STRUCTURAL BODY AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

The cathode structure includes a supporting bar (2) fixed mechanically on a main body (1) without using a glass adhesive so that the thermal vibration is prevented by increasing the thermal shock resistance. The supporting bar (2) has a pair of linkage parts (8) adhering the supporting bar to the main body by bending. The bending is performed by the punching press. The press punches the linkage plates at 45 deg. in first and another two presses punch the bended plates compretely to fixing hole (1') in second. The supporting plates have each groove (20) for preventing the deformation caused during the resistance welding process.
