PURPOSE:To reduce an absolute value of a temperature coefficient of an initial permeability over a wide temperature range and to reduce a loss especially in a high-frequency band by a method wherein a sintered substance whose average crystal particle diameter is a specific value is formed by adding an additive of a specific oxide to another specific oxide used as a main component. CONSTITUTION:When Fe2O3, ZnO and MnO are used as main components, Cr2O3 is contained as an additive, Cr2O3 exists as (Zn, Mn, Fe)-Cr2O3 and an average crystal particle diameter is set to 4 mum or lower, a ferrite sintered substance whose ¦alphaT¦ is small over a wide temperature range, whose loss ratio is a small value as shown in Formula I, whose reduction in a loss tan delta/mui is reduced especially in a high-frequency band such as 2 MHz or the like and whose frequency characteristic is good and stable is obtained. |
