PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of a prior memory reference inspection by assuming that requested all memory references are present, performing interruption when the required memory reference is absent and cancelling everything performed by a program before the interruption. CONSTITUTION: It is supposed that all the memory references requested by one section of the program are obtained in an allocated storage place. When it becomes clear that the presupposition is not correct, the execution of the program is interrupted and everything completed by a special code section before the interruption is cancelled. The requested memory reference in a storage area is found, it is written in the allocated storage place, the special code section is restarted and the required memory reference is supplied when it is requested. Thus, the need of the prior execution of a memory reference inspection program is eliminated. |
