PURPOSE:To improve detecting sensitivity of Coriolis force by providing first and second vibration masses which are located at positions deviated to the direction of the axis Y at the free ends of first and second arm members. CONSTITUTION:First and second arm members 16 and 17 are compressed and bonded to the surfaces of a base stage 18 which are orthogonal to the axis Y so that the second vibrators of the members are made to face each other. Second vibration masses 19 and 20 are attached to the free ends of the members 16 and 17 so that the masses are deviated to the direction of the axis Y. At this time, generated Coriolis forces FC in the masses 19 and 20 are made large. The deviation of the masses 19 and 20 in the direction of the axis Y enlarges the torsional moments caused by the Coriolis forces FC generated in the members 16 and 17. When an electric signal is outputted from a detecting elec trode through a lead wire 23, the Coriolis force can be detected highly sensitive ly. |
