PIPET-CHIP PACKAGE

A package of disposable pipette tips in which tapered pipette tips are supported on trays by projecting through apertures provided in the tray and in which the trays have sidewalls that extend downwardly from the tip supporting surface of the tray a distance greater than the distance the pipette tips project through the supporting surface. The sidewalls of the trays may be configured such that the bottom edge of the sidewall of a tray is supported by a shoulder formed in the sidewall of a tray on which the first tray is stacked. When the trays are thus stacked, the pipette tips on one tray project into the pipette tips on the tray below.
