The flushing system comprises a flushing pipe connected to a water supply. Between the latter and the flushing pipe are elements preventing reverse flow into the supply system. The piping comprises a down pipe (F) extending upwards, with its mouth (3) above the reverse flow level (R). The water supply pipe (7) leads downwards into the down pipe at such alignment with the latter that its end (8) is also above this level. USE/ADVANTAGE - For flushing various fat traps etc. with low-cost and low-maintenance backflow prevention.
