The ejector for material (5) from a vacuum chamber (16) incorporates a rigid return-lock (4) which, with the help of the force produced by the vacuum in the vacuumm-chamber (16), causes the thrust rod (6) to move back, and compresses the material. The material is compressed in the orifice of the ejector-tube (1) and is collected in a duct (9) in the thrust rod housing. The duct (9) is covered by a spring-loaded cover-plate (10).
