PURPOSE:To facilitate movement of a large structure between a quay and a ship and facilitate loading or unloading by providing a buoyancy body capable of controlling its height between the quay and the ship and optionally setting the height of the upper face of this buoyancy body at the same height as the quay or the ship. CONSTITUTION:A barge 3 is moored by mooring dolphins so that the end of its stern touches the front end of a buoyancy body 2 and a ramp 5 is situated above a concave 7 of the buoyancy body 2. Next, the buoyancy body 2 is floated and the concave 7 of the buoyancy body 2 is fitted to the ramp 5 of the barge 3 to keep the upper face 2a of the buoyancy body at the same height as the upper face 3a of the barge. Rails of both faces are aligned, a bogie 16 is moved onto the buoyancy body 2, then the buoyancy body 2 is sunk and bottomed on a mound 14 to keep the upper face 2a of the buoyancy body at the same height as the quay 1. A large structure is transferred from a trailer 17 to the bogie 16, the buoyancy body 2 is floated again, and the bogie 16 is moved onto the barge 3, thus a large structure can be loaded. |
