<p>PURPOSE:To make a sheet feeding device applicable to models of different image forming speeds without setting or changing the sheet feeding speed by providing a sheet feeding speed switching means to change the sheet feeding speed in compliance with a discrimination signal from a discrimination means for discriminating the sort of an image forming device when the sheet feeding device is mounted to the image forming device. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet feeding device F is mounted to an image forming device P, a discrimination means 1 discriminates the sort of the image forming device P, and a sheet feeding speed switching means 2 changed the sheet transport speed in compliance with a discrimination signal from the discrimination means 1. When a signal is inputted from the image forming device P, a sheet material is fed to the image forming device P by a sheet feeding means 3 at a sheet speed switched by the sheet feeding speed changing means 2. Need of setting or changing the sheet feeding speed for each image forming device P is thus eliminated.</p> |
