PURPOSE:To obviate the need for a troublesome sealing design regarding the main component parts of a container body by providing a structure comprising the container body provided with a water reservoir groove for holding water therein all around its periphery, an air control mechanism and a lid having the lower part so shaped as to fit with the entire periphery of the water reservoir groove. CONSTITUTION:A water reservoir groove 2 with a U-shaped cross section is formed all around the outer periphery of an opening of a container body 1 capable of holding a predetermined amount of water 3. The air control mechanism 5 such as a freely manually operative cock is provided in a suitable position, e.g. the central part of a lid 4 having all around its periphery a lower part 4a so shaped as to fit into the water reservoir groove 2. Since the entire periphery of the lower part 4a of the lid 4 is sunk in the water 3 staying in the water reservoir groove 2 with the container body 1 covered with the lid 4, the lowe part 4a is sealed with the water. This leads to the manufacture of a completely sealable container of a simple structure by merely giving design considerations to a combined configuration of the water reservoir groove 2 and the lower part 4a of the lid 4 mating therewith. |
