<p>PURPOSE:To realize the liquid crystal display device which has small variance in contrast by pressing and sticking a substrate which is provided with varistor films connecting picture element electrodes and signal electrodes and a substrate where a polymer dispersion type liquid crystal layer is formed on each other. CONSTITUTION:The transparent picture element electrodes 3 and signal electrodes 4 are formed on the substrate 2 by a patterning method, etc., and the varisior films 5 are formed by a screen printing method, etc., so as to connect the picture element electrodes 3 and signal electrodes 4. The polymer dispersion type liquid crystal layer 8 is formed on the substrate 6 where a specific scanning electrode 7 is formed. Then the substrate 2 where the varistor films 5 are arranged and the substrate 6 where the polymer dispersion type liquid crystal layer 8 is formed are stuck together. When they are stucked, the picture element electrodes 3 and scanning electrode 7 are set opposite each other and the polymer dispersion type liquid crystal layer 8 is brought into contact with the varistor parts so that no gap part is not formed. There are a method using a roller, a method which presses the substrates under reduced pressure, etc., as the method for pressing the substrates.</p> |
