PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of vibration noise of an air filter occasioned by vibration of an air conditioner by a method wherein through elasticity of the spring part of the air filter produced through contact with the rib of a front panel, the under surface of the air filter is always pressed against the lower holding surface of the air filter of the front panel. CONSTITUTION:A suction grill 10 is first opened, an air filter 6 is inserted in a front panel 2 along a rail 13 of a guide. When a spring part 11 of the filter 6 is brought into contact with the end surface of the rib of the panel 2, the under surface of the filter 6 is pressed over holding pieces 15 at the lower part of the panel 2 in a state that a spring part 11 is pressed, and the filter 6 is adhered to the panel 2. In this case, since a relation between a size A from the end surface of a rib 14 of the panel 2 to a lower holding surface for the filter 6 and a size B from the under surface of the filter 6 to the upper surface of the spring part 11 is set to A<B, through repulsive elasticity of the spring part 11, the under surface of the filter 6 is held in a state to be always pressed against the holding surface of the holding surface for the filter 6 at the lower part of the panel 2. |
