The invention relates to an arrangement for scrapping contaminated components 9 without contaminating a surrounding gaseous or liquid medium. The arrangement comprises a transportable processing vessel 5 consisting of a bottom end wall 6 and a casing which can be mounted thereon and comprises one or more successively arranged, detachably connected annular jacket sections 11. Arranged outside the processing vessel 5 is a closable transport container 13 for broken-up scrap. This is connected detachably to the vessel 5 and communicates with the interior of the vessel via a closable lock opening.
