ACTIVATOR, ACTIVATOR GENE AND MARKER GENE AND PRODUCTION OF USEFUL AND PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCE

摘要

NEW MATERIAL:An activator having properties activating a gene derived from a thermophilic bacterium and containing a marker gene and enhancing transfer of structural gene controlled by a gene containing the marker gene. USE:The activator is used for controlling expression of gene concerning production of useful substance or for efficiently producing an useful and physiologically active substance. PREPARATION:For example, Bacillus stearothemophilus is cultured in a culture medium and bacterium cell thereof is collected and chromosome DNA is separated according to an ordinary method and treated with restriction enzymes and then integrated into a vector plasmid separated from Bacillus subtilis MT-2 according to an ordinary method and inserted into Bacillus subtilis MT-2 to transform Bacillus subtilis MT-2 and the transformer is cloned and clone having activating factor gene is selected and cultured to provide the activator.
