PURPOSE:To facilitate the selective operation by providing a display controller displaying the name of information of reproduced information scheduled to be selected with prediction before the reproduction of the reproduced information onto a display device. CONSTITUTION:The information reproducing device is provided with a display controller 8a displaying a reproduction information name of reproduced information scheduled to be selected onto a display section 8b of a display device 7 before the reproduction of the reproduced information with prediction. When a certain set of reproduction information is selected, the information name of the reproduction information selected by the display controller 8a is fed to the display device 7 to control the information to be displayed on the display section 8b before the reproduction of the reproduction information. As the display timing, a period such as from the point of time of selection till the end of selection and just before the start of reproduction is to be considered. Thus, the information name is displayed before the start of the reproduction. Thus, the selective operation is facilitated. |
