The roller-type sunblind is esp. for the window of a motor vehicle. It consists of a strip (2) of opaque flexible material. One end of the strip (2) is attached to the actuating rod (3) whilst the other end is wound around a rotatable shaft (1). This rotatable shaft (1) is in the form of a tube and has a torsion spring (4) fitted inside each end to roll up the blind when it is not in use. By fitting a spring in each end of the shaft the blind is wound up without the risk of folds being formed in the blind material. USE - roller blinds for windows of motor vehicles.
