PURPOSE: To prevent the seizure of a synchronous clutch by starting a resilient interlock during the transient state of range gear ratio shift of auxiliary shift mechanism to suppress shift of main shift mechanism from the neutral position. CONSTITUTION: When a main shaft mechanism is put in a neutral position, a control shaft 100 is released from the resilient energization of a plunger 180 generated by a range interlock lateral shaft 182, and moves into a center position together with shift bars 96, 98, and shift tab members 118, 120 are axially aligned with the grooves of shift block members 122, 130. The shift bars 96, 98 are selectively moved in the axial direction by a finger 148, and a range control valve assembly 150 shifts a range type auxiliary shift part. The shift of the range gear ratio of auxiliary shift mechanism is not therefore started until the main shift mechanism is neutral, and the main shift mechanism is retained in the neutral position until the auxiliary shift mechanism is completely meshed, thus preventing the seizure of a clutch. |
