PURPOSE:To easily assemble the fixing unit without using any dedicated assembling jig by inserting a fixing roller and a pressure roller into a frame by at right angles to their axes and assembling them. CONSTITUTION:The fixing roller 2 where a driving-side bearing 8 and a gear 9 are incorporated is fallen in opening parts 1a and 1b of the frame 1 at right angles to the axis of the fixing roller 2 when incorporated. Therefore, both the ends of the fixing roller 2 are supported rotatably on the frame 1 through bearings 8 and 3. Further, when the pressure roller is incorporated, bearings 5 and 5 and pressure springs 6 and 6 are incorporated in a pressure plate 7 previously and while the pressure plate 7 is hooked to an idler shaft 11, the pressure roller 4 in open state is incorporated in the bearings 5 and 5 at right angles to its axis. Consequently, the fixing roller 2 and pressure roller 4 easily are assembled without using any dedicated assembling jig. |
