<p>PURPOSE:To surely earth a separating pad to a chassis without limiting movement of the separating pad by electrically connecting the other end of an elastic member which is electrically connected to the separating pad at one end and made of an electrically conductive member pressing and energizating the separating pad against a feed roller to a chassis receiving the separating pad, a guide plate, and the like. CONSTITUTION:A separating pad 3 is pressed against a feed roller 1 with an elastic member 9 arranged under the pad not through any movable members. Nextly, the separating pad 3 presses smoothly sheet material against the feed roller 1 without receiving limit of pressing operation. Further, an conductive guide plate 6 connected to the separating pad 3 is earthed directly to a chassis 13 with the elastic member 9 to earth the separating pad 3.</p> |
