PURPOSE:To obtain a metal conductive oxide of high conductivity by substituting praseodymium or neodymium for part of lanthanum in Ba1La4Cu5Oy. CONSTITUTION:A metal conductive oxide is expressed as Ba1(La1-xPrx)4Cu5Oy, or as Ba1(La1-xNdx)4Cu5Oy. When Nd or Pr are to be added, the upper limit is X=0.8, and if X is more than 0.8, resistivity is steeply increased. X=0.05-0.6 is appropriate for an electrode material, and X of any other value is not suitable for the level of practical use. |
