1,065,350. Sound recorder accessories. PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. May 28, 1965. [Oct. 2, 1964; Nov. 3, 1964], No. 22764/65. Heading G5R. [Also in Division E2] To prevent tangling of the microphone and hand-switch leads 5, 4 emerging from a recorder 1, they are enclosed in a longitudinally slit sleeve 6 carrying a slide fastening means 7, Fig. 2, for ejecting one of the leads. The sleeve 6 contains one of the leads 5 at all times, while the lead 4 may be tweaked out through a slot 8 in the sleeve by a slider 9 with an appropriate oblique boring, Fig. 3. The sleeve tends to close resiliently to retain the portion of the lead 4 to the left of Fig. 3. The sleeve may contain more than two leads (Fig. 5, not shown) and there may be more than one slider to eject one or more of the leads successively. The ejection of the leads may not all occur in the same direction of movement of the sliders. |
