PURPOSE: To well atomize fuel and improve combustible performance by providing a heater to encircle the inner wall of a diffusion portion open to a suction passage ranging downward from a nozzle so that fuel can be heated by using the quantity of heat of engine cooling water, exhaust gas, etc. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 2 has a nozzle inner room limited by its inner wall 3 and tapered downward from its upper section 4 and ranging to the minimum cross section 5. A linear diffusion portion 6 is continued downward from the minimum cross section 5 and the downstream end of the diffusion portion 6 is open to a suction pipe 7. To adjust a main air flow, a throttle 8 combined with the nozzle 2 is provided in the direction of an arrow mark A along a vertical axis 1 in a displaceable manner. In this case, a heater 15 having a heating passage 16 completely encircling the inner wall of the diffusion portion 6 is provided to circulate hot engine cooling water in the heating passage 16 so that fuel flowing in the diffusion portion 6 can be heated and atomized. |
