PURPOSE:To perform multiplex transmission using a null area by transmitting plural still pictures simultaneously by inserting the spectrum of another still picture to an area complementary to the three-dimensional spectrum of the still picture in a three-dimensional frequency area, and separating and deriving those plural still pictures. CONSTITUTION:Data is multiplexed and transmitted by shifting information desired to multiplex by a prescribed number of frequencies with frequency shift circuit means F1-Fn, and inserting a signal shifted to the null area such as the area complementary to the three-dimensional spectrum in the three- dimensional frequency area of horizon, vertical, and time used in the transmission of the still picture. At a reception side, a sent multiplex signal is introduced to band-pass filters BPF0-BPFn, and the spectra of plural data are separated, and the data consisting of each separated spectrum is introduced to frequency reverse-shift circuits G1-Gn, then, respective data is demodulated to a baseband, and respective data is extracted. |
