PURPOSE:To efficiently lay a pipe to be buried while avoiding underground obstructions by providing a drilling head, an end lens portion, an observing mechanism, an illuminating mechanism and a fluid injection nozzle, at the end of a flexible pipe which is drawn out to drill a laid hole without opening it from above the ground. CONSTITUTION:A flexible pipe 2 is drawn out from a ground apparatus 1. A drilling head 9 for drilling a laid shaft, and an optical fiber scope 10 serving as an observing mechanism for observing work face are both attached to the end of the flexible pipe 2. An observation obstruction removing fluid injection nozzle 12 for removing earth, etc., stuck to embedded objects to be observed is connected to the end of the flow passage 11 of the flexible pipe 2. The optical fiber scope 10 is further used as one part of an illuminating mechanism for illuminating the work face. Thus a laid hole is excavated without opening it from above the ground, while embedded objects are surely avoided. |
