Shut-off valve for gas supply pipe - is provided with filter which can be removed only when valve is closed

A gas supply pipe is fitted with a shut-off valve (2) which is mounted on a base plate (1) with a filter (3) connected to the valve. The shut-off valve (2) is actuated by a lever (4) which, when the valve is open, extends over the screwed plug which provides access to the filter (3). The valve (2) must therefore be closed in order to remove the filter. A non-return valve is incorporated in the filter plug with a nipple for connecting to a flexible hose. The filter plug is also provided with a connection for a pressure gauge. USE - Gas supply installations.
