<p>PURPOSE:To set the varidity period of message storage flexible by providing a validity setting means setting a variable length storage period to a communication message sent from a communication terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A mail box registration request message addressed to a terminal equipment 3 is sent via a network 8 from, e.g. terminal equipment 1 and received by a communication control section 1, then the message from the terminal equipment 1 is stored in a mail box for the terminal equipment 3 of a mail box storage section 13. Then the time counting of the relevant message addressed to the terminal equipment 3 is started by a counting section 14. Then information quantity V of a message main body 26 of a received message and a preset specified value FV are compared and the mail box storage validity period in response to the information quantity V is set variable and written in an effective period field in a message management table 16. Since the storage validity period of the message is flexibly set, the memory is used effectively.</p> |
