<p>PURPOSE:To stably feed a magnetic tape by providing a torsion spring at the free end part of a tension arm provided with a tension roller. CONSTITUTION:The torsion spring 17 is provided at the free end part of the tension arm 13 provided with the tension roller 12, and almost the same moment as that by the tension of the magnetic tape is pressed in advance on the torsion spring 17 in an opposite direction. The device is comprised in such a way that the moment goes to zero by off setting the moment by the tension of the magnetic tape with that in the opposite direction by the torsion spring 17 when the magnetic tape is hung over the tension roller 12. In such a way, it is possible to stably feed the magnetic tape by supporting with bearings the tension roller 12 perpendicularly, and to reduce moment of inertia by making a component light weight.</p> |
