The device on a vehicle for placing traffic cones (6), in particular on motorways, comprises a conveyor belt (1) with, running parallel thereto, a support belt (2) which clamps the traffic cones (6) against the conveyor belt (1). The conveyor belt (1) is driven by a motor (20) and, as a result of the friction between the two belts (1, 2) and the traffic cones (6), draws the support belt (2) along. At the end of the conveyor belt (1), there is a limit switch (21) which is actuated by the lower edge (13) of the individual traffic cones (6) to switch off the motor (20). The traffic cone (6) ready to be set down is then situated at the lower end of the conveyor belt (1) and can be set down either manually or automatically. In the case of manual operation, a switch is actuated each time, and in the case of automatic operation, the motor (20) is actuated by means of a contact on the end switch and a time relay or the like. <IMAGE> |
