PURPOSE:To improve fluidity and mechanical strength of a formed compact and enable production of a sintered compact having a high density by adding a thermosetting resin to ceramic raw material powder, granulating the resultant mixture, curing the granulated mixture, then kneading and forming the cured substance with an organic binder. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic raw material powder, such as Ni-Zn ferrite presintered powder or alumina powder, is mixed and kneaded with an organic binder and formed. The resultant formed compact is then subjected to removal of the binder and sintered to produce a calcined ceramic compact. In the process, a thermosetting resin, e.g. epoxy resin, is added to the ceramic raw material powder before mixing thereof with the organic binder and the resultant mixture is granulated, cured, then kneaded with the organic binder and formed. |
